George Tsirgiotis, LPC

George Tsirgiotis completed a master’s degree in education with an emphasis in Psychology at Harding University, and a master of arts in religion with an emphasis in Counseling. He is licensed in Tennessee as a Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation and as a Marital and Family Therapist.

George has conducted therapy with children, adolescents, and adults for over 19 years in outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, and inpatient acute settings. George is trained in family systems models of therapy, as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), for trauma and anxiety issues. George has significant experience with addictions, depression and anxiety, marital conflict, family therapy and parent training, trauma, anger management, and stress management.

George also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the Counseling Department at Harding School of Theology, teaching courses in the areas of addiction and violence in families, as well as child and adolescent therapy.
