Dan Haddow

Dan Haddow has built a career dedicated to education, counseling, and leadership, with a mission to connect schools, families, and communities through hope and support. With a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Eckerd College and a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of Memphis, Dan holds multiple Tennessee endorsements, including School Counselor, Special Education Interventionist, and Professional Administrator. Over the years, these endorsements have allowed Dan to serve as Principal of an International Baccalaureate high school, Assistant Superintendent overseeing human resources and leadership development for a district of 6,000 students, and Special Advisor to a superintendent, providing expertise in organizational strategy, performance evaluation, and leadership training.

In addition to administrative leadership, Dan has been deeply engaged in education and mental health services. At the Christian Psychological Center, Dan’s work involves supporting families in crisis, guiding educational placements, and addressing school-related challenges. This includes providing academic coaching involving a six-month program rooted in positive psychology, as well as assisting with career development and job placement skills. Dan also contributes to broader community initiatives, such as the Memphis Resilience Project.

Dan’s professional experiences also include participation on school accreditation teams and serving as a supervisor for both student teachers and student school counselors, helping shape future generations of educators and mental health professionals. He has also worked as a floor counselor and intervention counselor in hospital, residential and school settings during a vast career of over 30+ years in human/educational services.

Beyond direct service and leadership roles, Dan stays active with professional and community engagement. Dan currently serves on the Board of Alliance Mental Health and is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Across roles in schools, counseling, and community initiatives, Dan’s vision is to continue to connect education and mental health services under a shared vision of growth, resilience, and hope.
