Dr. Lou Flowers Martin earned her Doctoral degree from the University of Memphis in Educational Leadership. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, with Mental Health Service Provider designation in the state of Tennessee.
Dr. Martin’s practice focuses on women’s issues, personal and professional wellness, and child, adolescent, and family therapy. Her expertise includes working with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional or interpersonal challenges related to relational, academic and/or social pressures. In addition, Lou offers assistance in developing divorce or blended family agreements, discipline plans, and plans to navigate stress constructively.
Dr. Martin’s background also includes experience in teaching and school counseling. Lou serves as CPC’s outreach to the Memphis Educational community and the Center’s Urban Education Initiative. She also serves on various community related boards.
