David DeasonDr. David Deason received his Ph.D. in counseling psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi, where his research focused on interpersonal attachment, family functioning, and identity. Before coming to the Center, he worked in a residential setting serving children and adolescents displaying emotional and behavioral problems. At the Center, Dr. Deason specializes in psychological assessment to accurately identify complicated psychological problems, assessment and treatment of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder/ADD (child and adult), and individual treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, anger management, and trauma (Dr. Deason is trained in EMDR).

He also provides marital therapy, support for people facing life transitions, and psychoeducational evaluations for young adults making college and career choices.
